Welcome to Salt Spray Surf School, Ohope Beach, Whakatane. Learning to Surf is an exhilirating experience and the team at Salt Spray Surf School are here to help you discover this experience for yourself. 

Our instructors are friendly local surfers who are fully qualified in surfing, coaching, first aid, safety and surf awareness. All the equipment you need is supplied including soft top surfboards, wet suits, rash vests and sunscreen. When you have completed your programme you will gain a certificate, sticker and surfing knowledge as well as experience.

Salt Spray Surf School is fully licensed with Surfing NZ and the Whakatane District Council.
