To see the (Weekend and Public Holidays) Duty Doctor you now go to the Emergency Room at Whakatane Hospital,  Stewart St 10am - 4 pm. There will be a GP working from a room at the Emergency Department during these hours.

There are a number of after hour duty pharmacies in Whakatane who can also supply and service your health needs. Weekend after hours care is covered by the town duty doctor and duty pharmacy. For more information on the after hours duty pharmacy please call the numbers on the left.
