The West End in Ohope is a hidden treasure, one that many visitors to Ohope Beach miss, after all there is 11km of beach to explore. This part of the beach is popular with swimmers and surfers, there are also rocks to explore.

The West End is only a kilometre from the main Ohope Beach Shops. There is a car park, toilets and is home to the West End Board Riders club. If you are looking to head over to Otarawairere Bay you can park your car here and walk over track to discover another hidden gem.
